SAN ANTONIO, June 12 (Ticker) -- Tiffani Johnson scored eight of her 10 points in overtime as the Houston Comets posted a 69-66 victory over the San Antonio Silver Stars.

Johnson, who came in averaging 3.6 points per game, helped Houston win its third straight with its second victory over the Silver Stars in four days. The 6-4 center made 4-of-5 shots and her layup with 45 seconds to play in overtime put the Comets ahead for good, 67-66.

San Antonio dropped its fifth in a row despite a 16-4 run over the final 7:24 to force overtime. Reserve Semeka Randall scored nine of her 12 points in the spurt and her jumper with 1.9 seconds to play forged a 57-57 tie.

Tina Thompson scored 15 points and Sheryl Swoopes added 14 for Houston, which shot 46 percent (29-of-63) and placed four players in double figures.

Marie Ferdinand led San Antonio with 20 points.
