SAN ANTONIO, May 26 (Ticker) --Margo Dydek is making a case to reclaim
her spot in the starting lineup.
Dydek collected 15 points, nine blocks and six rebounds as the
San Antonio Silver Stars rolled to a 56-44 victory over the
Margo Dydek swatted away nine Minnesota shots.

After six years as the franchise's starting center, Dydek has
been moved to the bench this season due to what coach Dee Brown
saw as a lack of assertiveness. The 7-2 Dydek struggled in her
first two games as a reserve before dominating the Lynx.
Dydek made 6-of-9 shots and anchored the defense for San
Antonio, which held Minnesota to 32 percent (18-of-56),
including 0-of-15 from 3-point range.
Marie Ferdinand scored six of her 17 points during a 16-6 run
that gave the Silver Stars their largest lead at 45-32 with 9:12
remaining. Minnesota got no closer than nine points
Rookie Nicole Ohlde scored 14 points but was the only player in
double figures for the Lynx, who finished a season-opening 1-2
