The Mercury posted their most lopsided victory of the season in their final home game. It has been a dismal campaign for Phoenix, which will finish with less than 10 wins for the first time in franchise history.

DeForge scored six points in the opening minutes as the Mercury jumped out to a 14-7 lead and never looked back. They had a 14-point lead at halftime and cruised to their highest-scoring game of the season.

Lisa Harrison scored 11 points and Tamicha Jackson added 10 and eight assists for Phoenix, which set season highs by making 29 free throws in 47 attempts.

Margo Dydek had a season-high 22 points and Sylvia Crawley added 12 and eight rebounds for the struggling Silver Stars, who shot just 39 percent (19-of-48) and committed 22 turnovers, leading to 30 points for the Mercury.
