NEW YORK, Aug. 5 (Ticker) -- Crystal Robinson scored 18 points and Tari Phillips added 12 and 12 rebounds as the New York Liberty posted a 69-60 victory over the San Antonio Silver Stars.

The Liberty have won consecutive games following a team-record five-game losing streak. They have won six of the last seven meetings with the Silver Stars, who used to be the Utah Starzz, after taking the finale of a three-game homestand.

San Antonio had its largest lead at 59-53 after a pair of free throws by Marie Ferdinand with 5:29 remaining. New York responded with an 8-0 run as Phillips and Elena Baranova scored four points apiece.

Baranova capped the spurt with a jumper to give the Liberty the lead for good at 61-59 with 2:49 left. New York made 5-of-6 free throws in the final 92 seconds, including 3-of-4 by Phillips, and held on for its fourth win in 12 games.

Linda Frohlich scored a season-high 12 points for the Liberty, who have won 10 of 14 home games this season.

Sylvia Crawley had 13 points and Marie Ferdinand, Adrienne Goodson and Gwen Jackson chipped in 10 each as San Antonio fell to 2-12 on the road.
