SAN ANTONIO, July 26 (Ticker) -- Adrienne Goodson scored 14 points and Marie Ferdinand added 12 as the San Antonio Silver Stars made new coach Shell Dailey's debut a successful one with a 64-55 victory over the Cleveland Rockers.

The Silver Stars snapped a six-game losing streak by going on a 13-0 run that opened a 56-48 advantage with 4:51 remaining. Both Goodson and Ferdinand had baskets during the spurt, which started at the 9:56 mark.

San Antonio had allowed 80.5 points per game during its skid, but under its new coach, it held Cleveland without a point for over six minutes. The Silver Stars shot 45.5 percent (25-for-55) and won for the first time in over three weeks.

Dailey was an assistant under coach Candi Harvey, who was fired Saturday after guiding the Silver Stars to a disappointing 6-16 record. Dailey was named coach on an interim basis.

Penny Taylor scored 14 points and rookie LaToya Thomas added 12 for the Rockers, who shot just 34 percent (22-for-64). They could not build on Saturday's 89-78 victory over Washington.
