Teana McKiver added 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting and also pulled down nine rebounds for Charlotte, which got five points and nine boards from Enis. The Sting had a 40-27 rebounding edge.
Shannon Johnson led the Sun with 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting and Nykesha Sales chipped in 10 but was the only other Connecticut player in double figures.
Charlotte shot just 37 percent (20-of-54) from the field but was 27-of-29 from the free-throw line. It has not lost at home since a season-opening 74-70 setback to Washington on May 23.
Connecticut has dropped four of five, falling to 3-4 on the road.
