MINNEAPOLIS, June 21 (Ticker) -- Katie Smith scored 19 points as the
Minnesota Lynx ended Indiana Fever's three-game winning streak
with a 66-58 victory.

Smith shot 8-for-8 from the line and led four Minnesota players
in double figures.
Kristi Harrower, who scored 10 points, capped
a 12-3 run with a driving layup that provided the game's
largest lead at 52-39 with 5:03 remaining.

Sheri Sam and
Tamika Williams also contributed with 10 points
apiece. Williams was given a technical foul with 2:09 remaining
after elbowing Indiana's
Tamika Catchings, who suffered a cut
on her face.
Catchings left the game bleeding above the left eye. The 2002
Rookie of the Year finished with 12 points but is not expected
to miss any games.
Coretta Brown led the Fever with 20 points, shooting 7-of-12
from the field and 4-of-6 from the line.
Natalie Williams had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Lynx, who
shot 21-of-28 from the line to offset 34 percent (21-of-61)
shooting.
Indiana fell to 1-4 on the road.
