Jones came off the bench and scored 14 of her 16 points in the second half and Bullett nailed a three-pointer with 1:59 remaining to lift the Mystics to a 56-55 win over the Charlotte Sting.

Jones made 8-of-13 shots from the field as the Mystics outscored the Sting, 32-17, over the final 18 1/2 minutes.

Bullett's three-pointer broke a 53-53 deadlock and put Washington ahead for good. She had 14 points and nine rebounds as the Mystics remained unbeaten at home (7-0) this season.

Charlotte's Dawn Staley hit a jumper with 37 seconds left to reduce the deficit to one. But after Bullett missed a shot, Staley shot was blocked before the buzzer.

Before the game, the first-place Mystics placed Holdsclaw, the WNBA's leading scorer and rebounder, on the injured list with a sprained left ankle. Holdsclaw, who is averaging 19.9 points and 11.8 rebounds per game, suffered the injury while fighting for a loose ball in the first half of Friday's loss at Portland.

Andrea Stinson scored 14 points for the Sting, who had a three-game winning streak snapped.

The Mystics avenged a 14-point road loss on June 19 and won for just the fifth time in 16 meetings with Charlotte.
