CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, June 19 (Ticker) -- Andrea Stinson had 27 points and 10 rebounds to help the Charlotte Sting remain perfect at home and snap the Washington Mystics' franchise-record six-game winning streak, 78-64.

Stinson made 12-of-19 shots as the Sting, the defending Eastern Conference champions, upended the East-leading Mystics and improved to 4-0 at Charlotte Coliseum this season.

Allison Feaster added 16 points and eight rebounds and Tammy Sutton-Brown chipped in 12 and nine for Charlotte, which shot only 43 percent (23-of-59) but limited Washington to 39 percent (26-of-61).

The Sting led at halftime, 34-27, and extended their advantage to 57-38 on a baseline jumper by Stinson with 11:26 remaining. The Mystics got no closer than nine points thereafter.

Chamique Holdsclaw paced the Mystics with 21 points and 14 rebounds. Rookie Asjha Jones contributed 13 points in the loss, just Washington's second through nine games.
