The Liberty acquired Deanna Nolan's rights as a part of the team's three-team trade with Tulsa and Minnesota. Should Nolan and the team agree on a deal, Nolan will be reunited with new Liberty coach Bill Laimbeer with whom she played under for six years. A three-time WNBA champion (she was named 2007 WNBA Finals MVP) and four-time All-WNBA selection, Nolan has averaged 13.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game in her nine-year WNBA career. She has spent the past four seasons playing for UMMC (Russia).
