San Antonio's Danny Green has been one of the biggest stories of the NBA Finals, hitting 19 of his 28 attempts from 3-point range through the series' first four games. He is, as they say, in the zone. And that's something that Skylar can relate to.
"I think itís a sense of confidence. When you shoot with confidence like that, the shots are gonna fall. When youíre doing that, I think you help your team so much, not just because the ball is going in, but because youíe playing with a confidence about you that is contagious to your teammates.
"Itís a great feeling where you feel like you canít be stopped. You might take some heat check shots, ya know. But when youíre in a groove like that at a professional level, you feel like you can do whatever you want to do."
To many NBA fans, this NBA Finals has also served as Green's coming out party. For Skylar, she said that moment came in the 2011 NCAA Tournament when she was a sophomore and Notre Dame made it National Championship Game.
ďI think that was the Notre Dame coming out party. It put our team back at an elite level.Ē
