When Skylar Diggins isn't watching A&E -- who can't get enough of Storage Wars and Duck Dynasty? -- there's a good chance she's watching basketball, specifically the NBA Playoffs.
"Iíve always been a huge fan of the NBA, from the 90s to now," Diggins said. "I just love the game. I love watching the players and taking things from different players. I love how competitive the game is."
Although she grew up a Pacers fan (which was passed on to her from her dad), Diggins likes to watch the game from an educational standpoint, mentioning players like Kobe Bryant, Tony Parker, Steve Nash and Chris Paul that she's tried to model her game after.
"When Iím watching the game Iím a student first. I donít think I'm watching just for kicks and giggles. I try to learn something from some players."
And, since we're in the middle of the NBA Finals and Skylar is both a fellow professional basketball player and an avid NBA fan, she can offer a unique perspective on the NBA Finals.
