Three Burning Questions with ... Gold Medalist Yolanda Griffith

A football movie opened to great reviews this weekend. We want to know: What's your favorite basketball movie?
"I liked 'Blue Chips' with Shaq and Penny, but it's 'Hoosiers.' I did hit the game-winner one time: In 1999 against the Sparks!

What natural scene is better: Fall in Connecticut or a sunset over the Sound in Seattle?
"I'm going to say Connecticut because they're the underdogs and I'm here."

Who would make a better basketball player: President Bush or Senator Kerry?
"I think Kerry, he has height. I think Bush would be a pushover. Kerry probably has 3-point range!"

Three Burning Questions with ... Gold Medalist Tina Thompson

A football movie opened to great reviews this weekend. We want to know: What's your favorite basketball movie?
"'Love and Basketball.' It tells a story that I'm familiar with. My boyfriend in high school and I went to the same college. The story plays out the same way. I play in the WNBA while he played in the NBA, but he's not playing right now. We're still really close."

What natural scene is better: Fall in Connecticut or a sunset over the Sound in Seattle?
"How about, three-fourths of the year the sun shines in California?" (Laughs.)

Who would make a better basketball player: President Bush or Senator Kerry?
"Definitely, Senator Kerry. He towers over President Bush in the height category. And he seems, I don't know, a little more versatile."

A football movie opened to great reviews this weekend. We want to know: What's your favorite basketball movie?

What natural scene is better: Fall in Connecticut or a sunset over the Sound in Seattle?
"Connecticut in the fall, definitely!" (Lilly is a Connecticut native.)

Who would make a better basketball player: President Bush or Senator Kerry?
"I would have to go with Kerry because he has some height on Bush."
