Indiana Fever forward and All-WNBA First Team member Tamika Catchings chatted with WNBA.com during Game 2 of the WNBA Finals.

What was your favorite part of the 2003 season?

Tamika Catchings
My favorite part of the season was probably the last three games of the season. I felt like we really came together as a team and performed well. Even though we didn't make the playoffs, we had a great run at the end.

What was the toughest part of the 2003 season?

Tamika Catchings
The toughest part was not making it to the playoffs.

Who was the hardest player you had to face and why?

Tamika Catchings
The hardest team to face was Detroit. They have so many weapons.

Were there specific goals you'd set for yourself this season? Did you reach them?

Tamika Catchings
My goals were the team goals, which were to make the playoffs again, and we didn't achieve that. For myself, I just wanted to have a great season again and have fun.

What are your plans for the offseason?

Tamika Catchings
My plans are to stick around Indiana and I have my own camp called "Catch the Fever" basketball camp. And hopefully I'll make the Olympic team.

Are there things you want to work on basketball-wise during the offseason?

Tamika Catchings
I want to work on everything, I want to move out to the wing next year, so playing defense on the wing and put myself in scoring position and my teammates as well.

What do you think your team needs to do to improve for next year?

Tamika Catchings
I say the biggest thing we need to improve is our defense. At the end, we picked it up. But next year, if we're not going to be the biggest team, we need to at least be the best defensive team.

Anything you don't have time to do in the season that you're looking forward to doing this offseason?

Tamika Catchings
Hopefully I'll be able to take some vacation. I'm looking for a good place to go right now.

Who is your favorite NBA team and why?

Tamika Catchings
Any team Alonzo Mourning's on. I've loved him as a player since I can remember. The way he plays, the way he does the dirty work.

Who is your pick to win the 2003-04 NBA title?

Tamika Catchings
With the people that L.A. has gotten -- Karl Malone and Gary Payton, I'd have to go with the Lakers.

Tamika Catchings
Thank you for all the people that have followed Indiana and myself. And hopefully we'll be in the Finals next year.
