    For the first time in WNBA Finals history, fans will have the chance to help choose the WNBA Finals Most Valuable Player.

    Fans who log onto WNBA.com during the second half of a "clinch game," when a team has a chance to close out the series that night, will be able to vote for their choice for Most Valuable Player of WNBA Finals 2002. The votes will be tabulated and the WNBA.com "MVP Fan Vote" will be combined with media votes to determine the winner.

    Game 2 on Saturday, August 31, marks the first "clinch game" so be sure to log on to WNBA.com and cast your vote. Your vote will help determine WNBA history.
