Lin Dunn has consumed her life with the love of basketball and has become one of the most successful women’s basketball coaches in history. She coached at the college level for a total of 25 seasons including stops at Austin Peay State University, the University of Mississippi, the University of Miami and Purdue University. She reached the NCAA Tournament on seven occasions and the Final Four once, in 1994 with Purdue

She has been inducted into the halls of fame at Austin Peay, Miami and Purdue, as well as the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame and the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. She was an assistant coach in the 1992 Olympic Games and was president of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association in 1984-85. Prior to joining the Fever, she was the first coach and GM of the Seattle Storm. Dunn is the fourth head coach in Fever history.
