Fever Teams With Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to Present Shootout for Fans, Aug. 4

The Indiana Fever has teamed with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to present the LLS Fever Shootout where fans can purchase a $30 experience to interact and shoot one-on-one with Fever players on the Conseco Fieldhouse hardwood, Wednesday, Aug. 4 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. All participants receive a ticket to an upcoming Fever home game with $15 from every ticket benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s fight against blood cancers.

Free parking for the event is provided in the Virginia Avenue Garage courtesy of Denison Parking. To take advantage of the free parking opportunity, participants must present their parking ticket to be stamped when they enter the event.

Three Fever players – Tully Bevilaqua, Ebony Hoffman and Briann January – will be on hand to greet participants, sign autographs, take photos and accept one-on-one shooting challenges from fans. Bevilaqua will appear from 2 to 3 p.m.; Hoffman from 3 to 4 p.m.; and January from 4 to 5 p.m.

Half of the $30 cost is donated directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society with participants receiving the opportunity to challenge a Fever player for three shots – a layup, a free throw and a 3-pointer. Participants receive a ticket to a Fever game on Aug. 6 or Aug. 13 and can win tickets to Indiana Pacers games, Video Games Live (at Conseco Fieldhouse, Aug. 7), the American Idols Live! Tour (at Conseco Fieldhouse, Aug. 31) or other Live Nation concerts in August including Jonas Brothers, Phish, Creed and John Mayer.

Family and friends of shooting participants may attend for a cost of $23 which also includes a donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Family and friends will also receive a ticket to a Fever game on Aug. 6 or Aug. 13.
