The No. 1 seed Indiana Fever (1-0) looks to close out the Eastern Conference Semifinals against No. 4 seed Washington Mystics (0-1) (7:00 p.m., NBATV, WIBC 93.1 FM).

Indiana & Washington’s Last Outing (September 17, 2009):

Tamika Catchings led the Fever to an 88-79 playoff-opening victory against the Washington Mystics. Catchings had 26 points and 12 rebounds while Katie Douglas added 19 points. Rookie Briann January overcame first-half foul trouble to score 16 points in the second half. The Mystics were led by 18 points and 10 rebounds from Crystal Langhorne.

Stats and Trends:

  • The Indiana Fever was the only playoff team to win on the road in Game 1.
  • The Indiana Fever is 11-1 against the Washington Mystics since 2007.
  • With the Detroit Shock’s 94-79 victory against the Atlanta Dream, Detroit advances to the Eastern Conference Finals and will play the winner of Indiana vs. Washington.
