Practice Report: May 28, 2014

It's a busy week for the Fever, who host Connecticut on Thursday and New York on Saturday. The Fever will be looking to keep the momentum rollin after picking up their first win of the season in a thrilling overtime finish on Sunday night in Atlanta.

In that victory, Erlana Larkins set a new franchise record with an astounding 22 rebounds (not to mention 13 points, four assists, and six steals). In the video above, Fever point guard Briann January and head coach Lin Dunn react to Larkins' record-setting performance and Larkins herself explains her thought process as she tries to get proper positioning when someone puts up a shot.

Going beyond Larkins' performance, in the video below January and Dunn share their thoughts on what the win in Atlanta meant for the team and offer praise for new Fever guard Sydney Carter, who played 35 minutes and scored 14 points in Atlanta despite dealing with a sore ankle.

And with the Fever preparing to host Connecticut on Thursday, January and Dunn also shared their thoughts on the legacy guard Katie Douglas, who played in Indiana from 2008-13 before signing with the Sun this offseason, left on the Fever franchise.
