INDIANA FEVER INFERNO HISTORY
Since the Women National Basketball Association’s (WNBA) Indiana Fever hit the hardwood in the summer of 2000, the Fever Inferno have been right by the team’s side. This exciting, energetic and enthusiastic group of young males and females has evolved into one of the WNBA’s best hip-hop dance squads!
The Inferno is made up of a diverse group of young dancers who share a common love of dance that binds them together. In addition to providing entertainment during timeouts of Indiana Fever home basketball games, the Inferno is very active in the Game Operations portion of the Fever game experience. The dancers help assist with on-court promotions, prize giveaways and much more.
Not only has the Inferno become an integral part of the community by making appearances for corporate, private, civic and charitable events on behalf of the Indiana Fever, it has also become a positive outlet for young dancers in Indianapolis.
As the Fever enters its 14th season in the WNBA so does the Fever Inferno. The Inferno program hopes to continue on a successful path of commitment to community, excellence in entertainment and a valuable asset to the Indiana Fever basketball program.
