The Indiana Fever hosted its annual bowling tournament on July 13, raising over $15,000 to benefit the Be YOUnique Fund of the Pacers Foundation. Filling every lane at Pinheads in Fishers, Fever players, coaches and staff joined forces with corporate partners, fans, media and local sports celebrities for an evening of social interaction, some heated bowling action and general fun that included dancing with members of the Fever’s Inferno Hip-Hop Squad.

At the end of the night, the Rosemeyer Team (pictured above) were crowned as champions. The squad, which featured rookie guard Maggie Lucas as their celebrity bowler, had a combined score of 1659. In second place was the Citizens Energy Group team (featuring celebrity bowler Darnell "Dr. Dunk" Hillman) with a combined score of 1583. Hot on their heels was the third place team from FORUM Credit Union (featuring Fever guard Layshia Clarendon) with a combined score of 1546.

"Every time we have an event like this, it (sells out) really fast...I can't say enough about how Indy has supported this franchise in everything we've done," said Fever President and General Manager Kelly Krauskopf.

Individually, the bowler of the night was Aaron Henry, who bowled a 206 for team FORUM Credit Union. Carlos Knox, the Fever's Player Development Coach, was the top celebrity bowler, rolling a 145 for Republic Services of Indianapolis. Knox edged out Marissa Coleman, who had the top score of any Fever player, by a single pin. Coleman rolled a 144 for the Kroger team. Krystal Thomas also had a strong night on the lanes, rolling a 142 on the Call the Groomer team.

One of the highlights of the night was "The Dunn Bowl," where head coach Lin Dunn faced off head-to-head against fans who made a donation to the Be YOUnique Fund. Dunn, ever the competitor, got the better of most of her opponents.

"It's great fun," Dunn said of the event. "It's a time for us to interact with the fans and a lot of our corporate partners who are so good to us. You know, there's some competition here, but it's all about having fun."

The top staff team was Box Office Bandits #1, captained by Paul Congress, with a combined score of 1163.
