Report From Seattle

Fever point guard Tully Bevilaqua was placed on the injured list Saturday afternoon, relegating Indiana's veteran playmaker to the sidelines for at least the next three games. She will become eligible to come off the injured for the Fever's home date on June 15 vs. Detroit.

Bevilaqua sustained a bone bruise to her left knee during the final minute of Wednesday's win over Sacramento, 61-60, at Conseco Fieldhouse. On a breakaway toward the basket, Bevilaqua's left knee buckled after contact with Ticha Penicheiro. Medical evaluation and an MRI on Thursday revealed no structural damage to the knee. Bevilaqua did not take part in Fever practices on Thursday or Friday. Saturday, during the team's shooting practice at KeyArena, Bevilaqua stretched the leg and rode a bike under the supervision of Fever trainer Holly Heitzman-Allison.

Activated from the injured list was Coretta Brown, Indiana's third-year guard who had arthroscopic surgery on her left knee in March. Expected to receive her first pro start Saturday evening is rookie guard Tan White, who has scored in double figures in each of the Fever's past two games.

Off to the best start in its six-year history, Indiana, 4-1, is in search of its first road win at Seattle. Indiana continues its West Coast trip at Sacramento Tuesday, before returning to Indianapolis for Stephanie White Night and a Community Health Network Health Fair on Friday, June 10, when the Fever hosts the New York Liberty (7:00 p.m.).
