Members Announced for 2008 Inferno Dance Team

The Indiana Fever has announced the members of its 2008 Inferno dance team. The Inferno is the official dance team of the Fever, appearing at all home games throughout its summer season.

This spirited and enthusiastic group of young male and female dancers gets Fever fans energized and on their feet moving to the beat of the music. Their explosive tumbling and high-energy hip-hop dance routines are performed during every Fever home game.

In addition to game performances, the Inferno dance team makes appearances throughout the spring and summer months. The dance team joins Fever players, coaches and front office staff at various community events.

Stacy Austin begins her seventh year as the Inferno choreographer and coordinator. Originally from Fort Wayne, Austin was a nine-year member of the Indiana Pacemates before taking over as choreographer/coordinator for both the Pacemates and Inferno.

Following the 2008 WNBA Draft on April 9, training camps open April 20. The Fever hosts a preseason game on May 7 against the Minnesota Lynx (7:00 p.m.) with its regular season opening game at Conseco Fieldhouse, May 17 against the Washington Mystics (7:00 p.m.).
