Fever completes weekend sweep of Liberty

STAR OF THE GAME
Ebony Hoffman
Hoffman was steady throughout the game, pacing herself with 14 points while shooting an efficient 5-of-11 from the field, including a perfect 3-of-3 from the three-point line. Hoffman also nailed a key three pointer in the fourth quarter to help seal the win for the Fever.
UNSUNG HERO
Tamika Catchings
It's not every night an All-Star has a quiet double-double. Catchings, however, had that type of night, recording 13 points and 11 rebounds, seven of which came from the offensive end.
QUOTABLE
Lin Dunn
In general:
“We were up by 17 and they made their run. We didn’t shoot well and we looked fatigued, but we still won the game. We got great help from the bench. We were able to rest our first unit a lot in the first half. We did a great job on the boards. The key to the game was holding Christon (Shameka) to 11 points. Tammy Sutton-Brown and Katie Douglas were not shooting well but we still won and that says a lot about our players.”

Ebony Hoffman
On back-to-back games against New York:
“Last night took a lot out of us. Tonight it was all guts. Legs were like cement blocks. I’m sure they were that way too. We are a resilient team to come back from 17 last night. No team can take a lead for granted with us. It is a testament to our team. Our bench played great tonight, gave us great minutes.”
