Fever Too Hot For Liberty

STAR OF THE GAME
Anna DeForge
She only played 19 minutes, but her 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting included three straight 3-pointers and eight of her points came during a 22-6 run to end the first period.
UNSUNG HERO
Tamika Catchings
Tough to be "unsung" when you're Tamika Catchings, but she finished with a "quiet" nine points, 10 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals. She played the first nine minutes of the second half and never returned. Said Liberty coach Patty Coyle after the game, "She's the best player in the league."
QUOTABLE
Tan White
In general:
"We came out focused right before the All-Star break. We wanted to take care of business. We had a lot of energy and were ready for their running game."

Brian Winters
In general:
"We have a good record but we’re not satisfied with it. Our defense has been solid. The addition of Tammy Sutton-Brown has helped. The contribution off the bench continues to improve. We are not where we want to be. Other teams are getting better so we need to keep improving. We’re not just satisfied with five wins in a row. We want 10 or 11. We will take a break until the Monday after the All-Star game and then go back to work.”
