The Fever Believer TipOff Party kicked off the 2007 WNBA season for Indiana Fever fans. Season ticket holders were greeted by a decorated Conseco Fieldhouse and were able to pick up season tickets and interact with many Fever players.

Approximately 1,000 season ticket holders and friends were on hand for the 1st Annual Indiana Fever 3-on-3 Basketball Game. The Blue Team consisting of Ebony Hoffman, K.B. Sharp, Alison Bales, and Jennifer “Lanky” Humphrey won the light-hearted contest while Tamika Catchings and Tully Bevilagua officiated.

Fans, players, and coaches were invited onto the court to participate in the “Cha Cha Slide” led by Ebony Hoffman. Fever first- and second-year players were then put on the “Hot Seat,” giving Fever fans a chance to meet the new players.

Fans and the Fever franchise will work together to implement new crowd traditions at its home games. Three such ideas were practiced at the TipOff Party, including an idea by season ticket holder Sue Ross who would like Fever fans to stand while doing the 3-point signal (both arms raised) and yell “three” whenever a Fever player makes a three-point basket.

At the end of the night, autographed basketballs, Fever gear, and other various prizes were given out to fans who attended the event. On their way out of the arena, fans had the opportunity to seek autographs from their favorite players.
