Grassroots Basketball Development
The Fever is committed to helping to provide opportunities for children to learn and compete in the game of basketball. As part of that effort, the Fever's history includes conducting special basketball camps, coaches clinics, and basketball leagues.

FEVER / YMCA Junior Hoops League
For a sixth season in 2005, the Fever partnered with the YMCA to host a girls’ basketball league from June-August for girls ages 6-15. Young girls not only played in the basketball league and received a free jersey, they also get the opportunity to interact with Fever players and attend a pre-selected Fever game. The Fever hosted the finals of the league at Conseco Fieldhouse.

In 2007, the Fever and YMCA will offer their second Junior Hoops Camp at the YMCA.

Fever Basketball Skills Camp
Since 2004, the Fever has conducted basketball skills camps for youth ages 10-17. The one-of-a-kind experience spans two days and features Fever players and coaches as instructors. Camps include skill development stations, competitions, games and special sit-down chats between players and the campers on a number of basketball topics. There is an awards ceremony, special group photo, goodie bag giveaway and a Fever team autograph session.
