DeLisha Milton-Jones has helped USA Basketball teams win a total of six gold medals since joining USA Basketball prior to the 1994 U.S. Olympic Festival. The 6-1 forward from Georgia has assisted USA Basketball to gold medals at the 2000 Olympic Games, 1998 and 2002 World Championships, 1999 U.S. Olympic Cup, 1997 World University Games as well as the 1994 U.S. Olympic Festival. In 106 games, Milton-Jones has averaged 6.9 points and 4.1 rebounds for the United States.

Milton-Jones entered the WNBA after being selected by the Los Angeles Sparks in the first round of the 1997 WNBA Draft. She played in Los Angeles until being traded to Washington in exchange for Chamique Holdsclaw on March 22, 2005. During her eight-year WNBA career, the former University of Florida star appeared in one All-Star Game and has won two WNBA championships while playing for the Sparks in 2001 and 2002.
