Q. What is your
motivation when don't feel like working out, running that extra mile, or waking
up early?
"The hunger inside. Playing basketball for me was a sense of
survival. It was a way of having accomplishments and finding success. Every day
that I wake up, I think about the struggles I have gone through to get here and
the things I need to do to continue on."
Q. Was there
a time in your life when you thought about giving up the game?
"I never
thought about not playing, but as it gets tougher, you question whether or not
you will be good enough to succeed at that level, but I always wanted to be the
best, so that motivation kicks in and cancels the rest of that stuff out."
Q.
What are some other goals you've set for yourselves off the court that you are
interested in or pursuing?
"Acting and a career in entertainment is another
one of my goals. I am also focusing on being an entrepreneur. I graduated from
Connecticut and ready to get into business, starting my own brand and working
with a creative team now and putting it all together. I want to be like Magic
someday, who has his hand in lots of ventures. From a business standpoint, he
is the man that I am trying to be like. He has given me some great advice and
was the one who told me that I can get started now at 25 and don't have to wait."
