    When did you first become interested in basketball?
    "I first became interested at the age of 17, but I decided I wanted to play professionally at 20."
    What is your favorite moment on the court?
    "When I dunked at the Iowa Classic in 2003."
    Do you have a coach that has inspired you most?
    "Wayne Williams - he introduced me to the game of basketball."
    Do you have any siblings?
    "Yes, a brother, Xavier."
    Do you play another other sports?
    "I ran track and played netball."
    What are your hobbies outside of hoops?
    "Playing video games, relaxing by myself and going to the movies."
    What is something unusual or crazy that has happened to you?
    "I moved into an apartment and the landlord called and said I owed him thousands of dollars and that the police were coming to get me. They took me for someone else, but I was afraid!!"
    What is one surprising fact about yourself that people may not know?
    "I like to do mechanical stuff."
    What was a defining moment in your life?
    "Coming to America."

    "A track superstar."

    "Yes, I have a pet bird named Blue."
