Photographic Memory: Detroit’s Swin Cash

WNBA.com's "Photographic Memory" asks players to look at a photo of themselves and talk about what it captures -- what was going through their mind at that moment of the game and what the photo reveals about their style. Here, Detroit's Swin Cash talks about 2003 Coach of the Year Bill Laimbeer and 2003 Rookie of the Year Cheryl Ford.

Winning Smile
"Coach has the same smile for everything. He's probably yelling at the person taking the picture, 'Hurry up, let's go, let's go.' He doesn't like smiling."

Playing Alongside Cheryl
"It's awesome. She's a beast. She's only going to get better. She's physical. She's physical in the low block, sometimes unstoppable if you don't double-team her. She's patient. She makes free throws. She doesn't shoot it as much, but she has the range. She'll nail the jumper if she's open. She only shoots if it’s her shot, and that's the one thing you can tell."

A Year Older and Wiser
"I try to help her out. Just dealing with the media, dealing with success at an early age. And having good people around you. If you have people who are jealous or just not in your best interest, it's not a lot of fun. But I think she's having a lot of fun because there's people around her that want her to be great."
