On the Road With Penny Taylor

Penny Taylor has made a name for herself in the States despite starting her basketball journey thousands of miles away in Melbourne, Australia. Playing in her seventh WNBA season, the Phoenix Mercury forward is enjoying her best campaign since joining the league, posting career-best numbers in points, rebounds and field-goal percentage. A few weeks ago she was rewarded for her efforts with a trip to the 2007 All-Star Game in Washington, D.C.

As an intergral part of the Australian women's basketball team and through playing in various stops overseas during the offseason, Taylor has given her passport a workout. WNBA.com recently sat down with Taylor to talk to her about her travel experiences in the U.S. and abroad.
