But if you answered "Amber Holt," you're either an enormous women's hoops fan or you're Connecticut Sun coach Mike Thibault, who snatched up the Middle Tennessee State senior with the ninth overall pick in the 2008 Draft.
WNBA.com spoke recently with the new Sun forward about her expectations in becoming a pro and about a few of her favorite things.
WNBA.com: As a star at a mid-major program like Middle Tennessee State, what do you think has really prepared you to take this step up to the professional level?
Holt: "Working hard at practice every day, because the way you practice is the way you're gonna come out and play in the games."
WNBA.com: What are the biggest strengths that you think you bring to the Sun?
Holt: "I think I'm a real threat on offense. I can score. But whatever Coach Thibault and the other coaches ask me to do, I'll do. I just want them to put me on the team."
WNBA.com: What do you feel like you really need to improve on to succeed at this level?
Holt: "Oh, I need to work on my dribbling. I could also improve my shooting from the outside. If I can get more consistent from three-point range, I think I'll be a more dangerous player."
WNBA.com: What do you expect some of the biggest challenges to be as you take this big step up in talent level… especially when all of the veteran players return from overseas?
Holt: "The change of pace. It was a big change of pace when I went from high school to college, and I expect this transition to be even more serious. It's a much faster game."
WNBA.com: Before getting drafted, did you follow the WNBA at all?
Holt: "Yes, definitely. I've followed the league for a little while. I really look up to Chamique Holdsclaw. She's a terrific player and I love her all-around game. I watch the WNBA whenever I can, but especially Chamique."
WNBA.com: Now a little more about Amber, the person. What's your favorite book?
Holt: "Wow, I haven't read a book in a minute!"
WNBA.com: What's your favorite movie?
Holt: "My favorite is probably White Chicks, but I have a couple of favorites. The Color Purple is another. I like all kinds of movies."
WNBA.com: What's your favorite TV show?
Holt: "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. In fact, I just got finished watching it. Will Smith is funny. Some of his movies are pretty good, too."
WNBA.com: How important is fashion to you? When you go out on the town, is it important to you to look good?
Holt: "Ha, honestly, it doesn't really matter. I usually just throw on sweats and call it a day. It's all about comfort for me. :) "
