What is your favorite exercise for the lower body?
I like hang cleans. They help with your explosion on jump shots.

What is your favorite exercise for the upper body?
Anything shoulders. You use your shoulders in almost everything in basketball.

What is your favorite cardio exercise?
Running distance.

How do you work out on your off days during the season?
I either bike or lift.

What do you do to stay in shape during the offseason?
I play ball, run sprints and mid-distances and lift weights.

What is your toughest fitness challenge?
My upper-body strength.

Is there a fitness goal that you have set for yourself that you are working towards?
Just to increase any weakness in strength (in my upper body).

Is there a fitness accomplishment you are most proud of?
I can run a mile in 6:30.00 or less when at my peak.

Is there one exercise that you hate doing and have to force yourself to complete?
Not really. I love being physically active.

What advice would you give to someone who wanted to get into better shape for playing basketball?
Mix distance running with sprints and interval training because basketball is a mix of cardio and speed.

How would you describe the role of fitness and exercise in your life?
It improves my quality of life. I am able to do and enjoy things that otherwise I could not.

What type of music do you listen to while you are working out?
R&B and Hip-Hop.

Is there a fitness product on TV that makes you laugh the most?
All of the "miracle abs" stuff.

Is there a certain food that you like to eat before games?
Pasta is what I usually eat before a game.

What foods do you have a weakness for?
My weakness would be chips and salsa and cheese!

What is your favorite healthy snack?
My favorite healthy snack is veggies.

When did you start working out and how has your fitness routine changed over the years?
I started working out when I was in high school. I feel like I am in pretty good shape right now, possibly the best of my life. I lift more now than I used to and I enjoy everything more.
