What is your favorite exercise for the upper body?
Chest press to build a stronger upper body and leaner arms.

What is your favorite cardio exercise?
Stair climber.

How do you work out on your off days during the season?
You don't, because you're tired.

What do you do to stay in shape during the offseason?
Play overseas, play pick-up ball.

What is your toughest fitness challenge?
Probably running distance. In college we never had to run miles, so I can do it but itís a challenge for me.

Is there a fitness goal that you have set for yourself that you are working towards?
Working for leaner, lower body fat and maintaining it.

Is there a fitness accomplishment you are most proud of?
My increase in stamina.

Is there one exercise that you hate doing and have to force yourself to complete?
Running distance.

What advice would you give to someone who wanted to get into better shape for playing basketball?
Do a cardio, high intensity workout and a lot of one-on-one, full court practices where you play a 16-point game, scoring by one, and really get after the ball.

How would you describe the role of fitness and exercise in your life?
It is my life. I think once you are in shape, it helps you feel good about yourself. It gives you energy. When I don't work out in the offseason some days I feel tired, when I get my workout in it definitely brings brightness to my day.

How has your fitness routine changed over the years?
I realize the importance of good training. You just mature; your body doesn't respond as well as you get older. So I think as you get older, you get more serious about what you eat because what you eat is either going to have a good effect or a bad effect on your body. So eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and stay away from the cakes, cookies and brownies.

Is there a certain type of music that you listen to while you are working out?
Hip-hop, R&B.

Is there a fitness product on TV that makes you laugh the most?
The electronic ab stimulator, I think that is really funny.

Is there a certain food that you like to eat before games?
I like to eat grilled salmon, mashed potatoes and green beans.

What foods do you have a weakness for?
Ice cream.

What is your favorite healthy snack?
Probably some apple rice cakes.
