Voted in as a starter in the 2002 WNBA All-Star Game with the second-most votes in the Western Conference, Tina Thompson led all scorers in the All-Star Game with 20 points.

Thompson has started in all four WNBA All-Star Games and ranks fourth in WNBA history in total points, behind only Lisa Leslie, Jennifer Gillom and Andrea Stinson.

In 2002, Thomspon scored 20 points or more six times. She ranked sixth in the league in rebounds (7.5) and seventh in scoring (16.7). Her six double-doubles also ranked seventh in the league.

So far in 2003*, Thompson has played in only two of the Comets' five games, missing two while recovering from a back injury suffered during the preseason and one while serving a suspension for a flagrant foul.

All right, you make the call: it's up to you whether or not to vote Thompson back into the starting lineup for the fifth consecutive All-Star Game: Cast your vote.

Of course there are other Western Conference forwards to consider as well. Need a little more info before you cast your vote? Here's a quick look at the stats to date of the Western Conference forwards on this year's All-Star ballot: Stats Comparison.
