The leading vote-getter during 2002 All-Star balloting, Sheryl Swoopes proved that fans know how to pick 'em, finishing the season with 18.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game and earning the league's MVP title.
So far in 2003*, Swoopes has started out right where she left off, averaging 19.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game over the first three games of the season.
2002 was the third All-Star for Swoopes, who also played in the 1999 and 2000 games.
