A second-round pick (18th overall) in the 2001 WNBA Draft, Charlotte Sting center Tammy Sutton-Brown made her first All-Star appearance in 2002.
Sutton-Brown finished the 2002 season ranked fourth in the WNBA in field goal percentage and 15th rebounding. She led the Sting in scoring seven times and in rebounding 13 times.
A member of the 2000 Canadian Olympic Team, Sutton-Brown was one of two Canadians to make the 2002 WNBA All-Star Team -- the other was Washington Mystics guard Stacey Dales-Schuman.
So far in 2003*, Sutton-Brown has picked up right where she left off last season. Through the Sting's first six games, Sutton-Brown is averaging 8.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. She also ranks fifth in the WNBA with 1.83 blocks per game.
