Overseas Update - Nov. 12

Erika de Souza – Sport Recife (Brazil): Sport Recife has not yet begun its season.

Tiffany Hayes – Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (Israel): Hayes’ team will play its second game Monday night. She had a team-high 21 points, five rebounds and five steals in the opener.

Aneika Henry – Rivas Ecopolis (Spain): Henry played just nine minutes off the bench during Rivas Ecopolis’ 64-53 victory over UNB Obenasa on Nov. 10. Henry totaled four points and a rebound, and now averages 8.0 points and 5.3 rebounds in four games for Rivas Ecopolis, which is 5-0 in the Spanish League.

Laurie Koehn – Logan Thunder (Australia): Koehn started and scored 13 points with one rebound and one assist during a 71-56 loss to West Coast on Nov. 9. Koehn is averaging 15.0 points while shooting 46.7 percent from three-point range (14-of-30) in four games with Logan Thunder, which owns a 2-5 record.

Cathrine Kraayeveld – Shinhan Bank (South Korea): Kraayeveld has not played yet after recently signing with the Shinhan Bank S-Birds, who own a 6-2 record in the South Korean League.

Yelena Leuchanka – Liaoning (China): Statistics and results for Leuchanka’s team have not been updated since their Nov. 3 game.

Sancho Lyttle – Galatasaray (Turkey): Galatasaray rolled to a 100-42 victory over Edremit on Nov. 11 to improve to 3-1 in the Turkish League, with Lyttle contributing 17 points, 11 rebounds and six steals in 25 minutes. Lyttle is now averaging 12.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and a league-high 3.3 steals per contest in Turkish League games for Galatasaray.

Angel McCoughtry – Fenerbahce (Turkey): McCoughtry helped Fenerbahce improve to 4-0 in the Turkish League with 15 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals during an 84-66 victory over Istanbul Univ. She is now averaging 18.0 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 3.3 steals in the four Turkish League games.
