Favorite Moment of the Season So Far

What has been your favorite moment or memory from this season so far, and why?

Sancho Lyttle: “I think it was the first time I stepped on the floor because last year I didn’t get to play because of my broken foot. So just getting all the way down to the end of the season is my favorite part.”

Tiffany Hayes: “I think it would probably be beating Chicago Sky after a back-to-back game when we played at Georgia Tech.”

Erika de Souza: “My favorite was when we won and made it to the playoffs after beating the Phoenix Mercury. Everybody played together and played strong.”

Shoni Schimmel: “The All-Star Game was probably my favorite moment this season so far just because it was a lot of fun for me being able to go out there and play, and then win MVP.”

Aneika Henry: “My favorite memory is mostly hanging out with my teammates and stuff like that. Like especially when we were on the West Coast, even though we lost, we were still together and enjoying each other.”

Jasmine Thomas: “I would have to say when we were on our winning streak, a few weeks before the All-Star break, the way we were practicing hard and practicing well. Everyone was in good spirits and felt confident about themselves, so that was the best memory I have thus far.”

Amanda Thompson: “I would have to say our first game because it was the feeling of just putting on a uniform and coming out there having the experience of being in the WNBA, with the Atlanta Dream. Then just going through everything in the process of training camp and just being out there was the best feeling.”

Celine Dumerc: “I would say it was the first game when I came onto the court. For me, it is special because it’s my first year in the WNBA, and it was really special to see and feel the intensity and the level of competition.”

Angel McCoughtry: “All-Star was really fun, especially with Shoni winning the MVP Award and making some highlight reels.”

Matee Ajavon: “My favorite moments this season were us making the playoffs because it’s a step to what we want to achieve. My other one was the All-Star game with Shoni.”

Delisha Milton-Jones: “Getting traded here, going from worst to first, and being in an environment where I felt it was conducive for me and my personality and my game.”
