Dream To End Hunger

ATLANTA, June 11, 2008- In partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank, the Atlanta Dream will conduct a food drive prior to the team’s game against the Indiana Fever on Friday, June 13, 2008 at Philips Arena. Gates will open at 6:30 pm.

The Dream encourages all fans attending the game to make a contribution and help eliminate hunger in the metro-Atlanta area. Non-perishable food items and monetary donations will be collected at all gates prior to the game at Philips Arena.

Volunteers are needed to assist in collecting food from the fans at the game. Get the details about this exciting volunteer opportunity!

The Dream tipped off their inaugural season at Philips Arena with back-to-back sellouts on May 23 and May 25, 2008. The team was officially announced as the 14th team in the WNBA on October 17, 2007.
