The Dream wrap up the 2008 regular season on the road against the playoff-bound Seattle Storm. Atlanta looks for its second upset in as many days tonight at Key Arena.

The Dream (4-29) are coming off a big win against the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday night, snapping a ten-game losing streak. With the victory, the Dream avoided setting the WNBA mark for most losses in a season. Izi Castro Marques led the way for Atlanta, scoring 15 of her team-high 23 points in a span of 5:57 during the fourth quarter. Betty Lennox added 21 points for the Dream and Ivory Latta tied her career-high with 10 assists. The Sparks were led by Candace Parker with 23 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists (all team-highs). DeLisha Milton-Jones (21) and Lisa Leslie (16) also finished in double figures for Los Angeles.

The Storm (21-11) have clinched a playoff spot with two games remaining on their 2008 regular season schedule. Seattle has not been in action since Tuesday night, losing 77-74 to the Sacramento Monarchs. The Storm were without three injured starters—Lauren Jackson (ankle), Swin Cash (back) and Sheryl Swoopes (mild concussion). Jackson returned to Seattle this week after a two month absence. She was injured while training with Australia for the Olympics and elected to undergo ankle surgery after the conclusion of the Games. Jackson is still rehabbing and will not immediately return to action. Swoopes is not expected to play tonight but Cash is listed day-to-day and could make her return to the lineup.

The Storm leads the series with the Dream 1-0, earning a 83-69 victory in Atlanta in the first matchup on September 2. Five Storm players scored in double figures, led by Sue Bird with 21. Yolanda Griffith and Camille Little both added 16 apiece for Seattle. The Dream will have to slow down MVP candidate and Olympian Sue Bird to win their final game of the inaugural campaign. Bird torched Atlanta for 21 points (8-14 from field), five rebounds, nine assists and five steals in the first matchup. Izi Castro Marques (12) and Betty Lennox (25) were the only Dream players to reach double figures.

Tonight’s game marks the return of former Storm teammates Izi Castro Marques and Betty Lennox to Seattle. Both players were key members of the Storm the previous few seasons before being acquired by the Dream in the 2008 WNBA Expansion Draft. Former Dream forward Camille Little also faces her former team for the second time this season.

Tip-off is scheduled for 10:00 PM EST at Key Arena in Seattle. Dream fans can catch all the action on 1230 / 1340 AM.
