The Military Family of the Game highlighted local military personnel who have exemplified extraordinary leadership during their military careers as well as providing guidance and being ideal role models at home with their families. All honorees received free tickets to the game, a commemorative basketball and a Free Family Dinner courtesy of Domino's. 2012 Military Families of the Game


SFC. ANGELA HANKS
Sergeant First Class Angela Hanks entered the Army in 1999. After attending basic training at Fort Sill in Oklahoma, she has had multiple assignments at Fort Gordon, Fort Tilden in New York and Fort Bragg in North Carolina. She has participated in Operation Enduring Freedom and has received 12 awards including the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. She was joined by her daughter Salonge and her husband Chad who is also a Active Duty Member of the United States Army.



MASS COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST 1ST CLASS ANTHONY DALLAS
Mass Communications Specialist 1st Class Anthony Dallas is a Public Affairs Photo Journalist with 25 years of experience. He is currently attached to a fleet based out of Naples, Italy and just returned in April from an eight month deployment to Djibouti, East Africa, his second deployment and eighth mission to an African nation. Through all his deployments, he has been supported by his wife of 21 years, Donna, and their two daughters, Morgan & Erin.



TSGT. MUBARAK RASHID
Tech Sergeant Mubarak Rashid serves as an Enlisted Accessions Recruiter in Tucker, Georgia. His mission is to recruit highly qualified civilian applicants who are eager to serve their country in the United States Air Force. This mission has moved his family from Arkansas, to Japan, and finally here to Georgia. Tech Sergeant Rashid was joined by his wife Valerie, and their children Deven and Maylia!



SFC. CYNTHIA BROUGHTON
Sergeant First Class Cynthia Broughton serves as the EPS Promotion Manager with the Georgia Army National Guard. During her military career, she has served in Iraq, been a part of the G8 Summit in 2004, and received the Meritorious Service Medal for her action in Egypt during Operation Bright Star. Sergeant First Class Broughton was joined by her son.



SGT. ANTHONY MITCHELL
Sergeant Anthony Mitchell serves as a 46 Romeo, which is a Broadcast Journalist, for the U.S. Army in Fort Gillem. Sergeant Mitchell has been in the Army for 9 years and is Combat Lifesaver qualified. He also holds a FAA Pilot License and three Black Belts. Sergeant Mitchell was joined on-court with his mom as they received a commemorative basketball and a Free Family Dinner courtesy of Dominos!



MSGT. RANDOLPH PAGE KENT III
Master Sergeant Kent served active duty in the Air Force from 1987 to 2000. He has served in Operation Desert Shield, Desert Storm and Iraq. He is now completing his military commitment in the reserves and retires this year with 20 years of service. Master Sergeant Kentwas joined on-court with his wife, Martha, and their sons, Page and Jackson, as they received a commemorative basketball and a Free Family Dinner courtesy of Dominos!



SSGT. JAMES SEVERIN
Staff Sergeant James Severin has been in the U.S. Infantry his entire career, spanning over 14 years. He has been deployed in operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. He has recently been recognized as the first Army division Non Commissioned Officer of the Year. Staff Sergeant Severin was joined on-court with his girlfriend, Jennifer, and their daughters, Maddison, Abigail and Allie, as they received a commemorative basketball and a Free Family Dinner courtesy of Dominos!



SSGT. CHRISTIN OLSEN
Staff Sergeant Christin Olsen enlisted in the Florida Army National Guard in 2005. Her awards include the Joint Service Achievement Medal and Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star. She is currently a member of the 178th Military Police Company with the Georgia Army National Guard. Staff Sergeant Olsen was joined on-court with her husband, Steve, as they received a commemorative basketball and a Free Family Dinner courtesy of Dominos!



SGT. BERNICE LEWIS-GAINES
Sergeant Bernice Lewis-Gaines enlisted in the United States Army in 1999. She was transferred to the Georgia Army National Guard after Hurricane Katrina hit her hometown of New Orleans. She is currently assigned to the 221st Military Intelligence Battalion as the Battalion S-4 assistant. Sergeant Gaines was joined on-court with her family as they received a commemorative basketball and a Free Family Dinner courtesy of Dominos!



SSGT. COREY PERRIMAN
Staff Sergeant Corey Perriman joined the U.S. Army Active Duty at the age of 19. He has been stationed in Fort Hood, Texas and was deployed to Qatar in 2010. He has received the Iraq Campaign Medal with two Campaign Stars and the National Defense Service Medal. Staff Sergeant Perriman was joined on-court with his family as they received a commemorative basketball and a Free Family Dinner courtesy of Dominos!



SPC. SELEENA PRICE
Specialist Seleena Price enlisted in the Georgia Army National Guard in 2008 and she is currently a member of 190th Military Police Company. During her career, she has received the Afghanistan Campaign Medal and Good Conduct Medal. Specialist Price was joined on-court with her family as they received a commemorative basketball and a Free Family Dinner courtesy of Dominos!



SSGT. FREDDY ZARRAGA
Staff Sergeant Freddy Zarraga enlisted in the Army in 2003. He has served in 4 combat tours in Somalia, Afghanistan and Iraq, twice. He has received numerous awards including five Army Commendation Medals and four Army Achievement Medals. Staff Sergeant Zarraga was joined on-court with his family as they received a commemorative basketball and a Free Family Dinner courtesy of Dominos!



SSGT. JOHN CUPPLES
Staff Sergeant John Cupples began his military career in 2002 in the 3rd Infantry Division of the U.S. Army. He has participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom and has received a Bronze Star and three Army Achievement Medals. He is currently enlisted in the Georgia Army National Guard. Staff Sergeant Cupples was joined on-court with his family as they received a commemorative basketball and a Free Family Dinner courtesy of Dominos!
