Donation / Appearance Request Guidelines

The Atlanta Dream provides the donation of Dream items for use in charitable fundriasing activites. Due to the large number of requests we receive, please adhere to the below guildeines. Donated items should be used exclusively for auctions to support 501(c)(3) organizations that support: girls and women's initiatives, education, and health/fitness.

We ask that all donation requests adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Must be submitted at least 4 weeks in advance of the event on organization letterhead
  • Organization must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and provide Tax ID number.
  • Only organizations within the state of Georgia are eligible.
  • Must contain event date; the contact person's name, phone number and address (please, no P.O. Boxes)

The following donation requests will not be considered:

  • E-mail / telephone request will not be granted due to high volume of requests received.
  • Requests from individuals or commercial entities
  • Requests for items for raffles/prizes
  • Unsigned merchandise to be autographed
  • Out-of-state donation requests
  • Requests for on-line auctions
  • Funding requests seeking direct monetary support.

The Atlanta Dream will make every effort to process your request within 1-2 weeks prior to your event.

We ask that organizations, which receive a donation from the Dream, return the charity auction request form indicating the amount raised by our donation and the amount raised by the fundraising event. Please return the form within one month of the completion for the fundraising event to be eligible for a donation the following calendar year.
