DREAM'S FIRST ANNUAL "BE FIT CHALLENGE" A SUCCESS

ATLANTA, July 6, 2009— Youth ages 10-13 got the opportunity to participate in the Be Fit Challenge, held prior to the Dream game against the Detroit Shock on Friday, June 26. As a part of the festivities of “Be Fit Friday,” participants competed in events such as an agility ladder and sprint race, a hula hoop contest, jump roping contest, and a race through a blow-up obstacle course. Participants were awarded points for their performance in each event and the highest score from each of the four age groups won the grand-prize of a $100 Best Buy gift card and a Coca-Cola prize pack. All participants received a Dream Be Fit goodie bag.
