“The Canadian Hammer” capped career with OSU and Pac-12 career blocks mark and back-to-back selections as the Pac-12 Defensive Player of Year.  2015-16: Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year, DPOY, and an All-Conf. First Team pick, as well as an All-America Hon. Mention recipient (AP) helped Beavers to first Final Four in program history. Scored 23 points and grabbed an OSU record-tying 20 boards in Pac-12 title game vs. UCLA.  2014-15: Breakout season resulted in multiple honors — All-America Third Team (AP); Pac-12 Player of the Year (media), Pac-12 Defensive POY (media and coaches) and All-Pac-12 (media and coaches).  2013-14: Named to All-Pac-12 Team by media and to conf.’s All-Def. Team by coaches and media after setting Pac-12 and OSU season blocks mark.  MISC: Mechanical Engineering major and Academic All-America First Team honoree at OSU. Raised on a cattle ranch 100 miles from the Alaskan border, she didn’t play hoops until 9th grade; but by 11th grade was on a provincial team comprised of BC’s best and routinely made the 12-hour trek to/from Vancouver on weekends to play with that team. Her HS graduating class consisted of 10 people; she was valedictorian.
