Tina Charles Leads 2010 Draft Class

The Connecticut Sun selected UConn C Tina Charles with the No. 1 pick in the 2010 WNBA Draft. Charles was followed by Virginia G Monica Wright and Nebraska F Kelsey Griffin. Sun Make Major Moves on Draft Day

The Connecticut Sun continued its offseason makeover with a busy Draft Day as they made moves for the present and the future. In addition to selecting Tina Charles with the No. 1 pick, the Sun also acquired No. 3 pick Kelsey Griffin (via trade with Minnesota), No. 7 pick Danielle McCray (via trade on Wed. with Tulsa) and No. 15 pick Allison Hightower.
