Q&A: Vanessa Hayden #7 Minnesota Lynx
Q: What are your feelings about being drafted so early and joining the Lynx?
Hayden: It’s always your dream as a college athlete to play at the professional level. Minnesota is a great program and I love their coach, Suzie McConnell Serio. They have Teresa Edwards, who I can look up to as well as Tamika Williams and Katie Smith.
Q: How will you deal with the back-to-back games?
Hayden: You have to develop a toughness in yourself and look up to the veterans to see how they handle it.
