On Sunday, April 27, 2008, more than 45,000 people participated in the Houston Division March of Dimes March for Babies event to help all babies – those born healthy and those who need help to survive and thrive.The Houston Comets want to thank all the fans that came out to support the March for Babies walk.The event huge was a huge success and the Houston Comets family is proud to have been a part of the largest walk in the country!

The Comets are also pleased to announce the corporate ticket package that will be available to all corporate walk teams. A portion of the proceeds of each ticket purchased through the ticket package will benefit the March for Babies Walk. At the end of the season, a check presentation will be held at center court to recognize all the money raised for March for Babies through the Houston Comets.
