Hello Comets Fans! Djacarda Richard here. I handle Public & Community Relations for the four-time WNBA Champion Houston Comets, a fact that is a source of great pride for me. I was previously on the Comets staff during the team's 2000 championship run. It was my first real job and I will never forget that I was able to witness a piece of history. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to return to the to Houston and the team that I love. I will be on the plane with the team as they head to Connecticut for the May 9 preseason match against the Sun. Coach Thompson has put together a wonderful squad and although some of our key players are not yet in Houston (Go Tina, Go Spartak Moscow!) I can't wait to see everyone in action on May 17 in Detroit. If you see me at the May 27 home game (or every other Comets game, for that matter), please feel free to say hello. If you've been a fan of the team as long as I have, we can swap stories. See you at Reliant Arena!
